With your library card, you may borrow:

Books, magazines, compact discs, audio cassettes and video cassettes (with a parent's card)

Books from any library in Nassau County

Cassette players, cassette recorders, movie screens, opaque, overhead, and slide projectors, electric typewriters, word processors and video telecaption machines.
At the library, you can:

Receive individual assistance from highly trained librarians.

Use state-of-the-art information technology and on-line searching.

Use Public computers, electric typewriters, fax machines and copy machines.

Attend courses, educational and entertainment programs.

Register with the Community Employment Service (CES) for help in finding a job and/or creating a resume.

Use the Information & Referral Service for confidential help for problems of daily living.

Use library databases to do research, obtain newspaper articles, book reviews, financial information, and much more.
