Busy, busy! The Chamber hosted a variety of meetings and events in April: Complimentary networking at Chocolate Works Plainview on the 10th; The Women's Group meeting on the 12th; the General Membership meeting on the 18th; the Scholarship Essay Judging on the 19th and the New Members Breakfast on the 26th.
Members were treated to a sweet night of networking at Chocolate Works which included a tour of their facilities. The Women's Group meeting featured a presentation by member Tami Racaniello of It's Time to Get Fit and Legislator Arnold Drucker had the opportunity to address about 60 members and guests at the general meeting. The scholarship evening, a unique and fun event, involved members carefully reading and assessing essay admissions by POB high school students vying for three scholarship awards. And finally, the New Members breakfast afforded 20 of the chamber's newest members the chance to introduce themselves and mingle, with each other as well as board members.
We hope you had the opportunity to join us for one or more of these enjoyble and worthwhile occasions!
